The Mom & Pop Food Tour
of Little Italy and Chinatown

★★★★★ “This is not a mainstream, run-of-the-mill tour. Tom is the owner, lives locally, and has real relationships with the mom-and-pop shops along the route. You meet the people who put their heart and soul into their businesses. Highly recommended.” - Stephen P.
Five family-run tastings in Little Italy and Chinatown.
$99 • 2hr 15min • 5 tastings • Max 10 guests
As a native New Yorker, I created this tour to celebrate the family-run shops that define Little Italy and Chinatown—several we visit are more than 100 years old. I selected these places not only because i want to see them do well and be preserved, but also because they are the best. They pride themselves on their reputations, and they know the neighborhoods.
You’ll taste: A light Hong Kong sponge cake with Thai tea • pork-and-chive dumplings (vegetarian available) • mountain-aged cheese, fresh-pulled mozzarella, and salami • pizza (Tony’s takes five hours to make the sauce) and cannoli from Ferrara, established 1892.
Groups are limited to 10, so the experience feels less like a scripted tour and more like a New Yorker friend (me!) showing you around.
